Our ingredients

To make our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried in for a 12 kg bag, so that this can be better processed in our lump. With the right amount of vegetables, fruit and herbs, Yourdog is a healthy, nutritious choice for the dog.

Buffalo

At YourDog we use meat from fairly grown up and grass -lined buffalo. Buffelo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and rich color and is full of vitamins and minerals. With a lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, this tender meat is full of health benefits.

Poultry

At YourDog we use duck, chicken and turkey which together ensure a delicious taste and aroma of the chunk. The highly digestible proteins in the poultry ensure good muscle building and are rich in vitamins and minerals.

Vegetable

To provide the dog with extra valuable nutrients, super healthy vegetables have been added to our food. For example, vegetables are not only nutritious, but they also have other healthy properties. The rough fiber in vegetables is good for the intestines and can contribute to digestion, among other things.

Fruit

We add a unique combination of fruit to YourDog, giving the dog all essential, natural antioxidants. For example, fruit can be good for the dog's immune system, but it can also contribute to a fresh breath or maintaining a healthy digestion. These natural ingredients promote the health of the dog.

Spices

The healthy herbs that enrich our food come from plants from Europe. The use of herbs, carrots, flowers, plants and algae has its origins thousands of years ago. These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body, such as digestion. Every ingredient that we add to our dog food has been carefully selected because of the positive properties. Depending on the size of the dog, the breed or the breed group, ingredients are brought to the attention. Ras -specific complaints can be reduced by the use of herbs, carrots, flowers and plants.

Sarplaninac specific vegetables, herbs and fruit

We have carefully investigated the race characteristics of the Sarplaninac. We have also conducted research into the properties of the FCI variety section and the FCI variety group to which the Sarplaninac belongs. These studies, in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionist, have been selected that optimally benefits the health and well -being of the Sarplaninac.

Spirulina

Spirulina is a nutritional supplement with an exceptionally high nutritional value, made of blue -green alga that can be found in tropical and subtropical areas. It belongs to the Microalgen family. Did you know that Spirulina can be grown in the room and consists of proteins for 60 to 70%?

It is rich in vitamins, including B12, minerals, such as calcium, iron, zinc, magnesium and potassium and all essential amino acids. Spirulina can contribute to the health and well -being of the dog in a general sense. In addition, it can contribute to supporting the immune system and promoting healthy skin and shiny coat. The alga also has a detoxifying effect and promotes digestion.

Glucosamine

Glucosamine is a body's own substance that can be found in joints, cartilage, joint fluid and tendons. Glucosamine stimulates the production of cartilage and keeping joints smooth.

Glucosamine is one of the most used supplements for dogs with osteoarthritis and/or joint problems. This is not only the case with older dogs, or (too) heavy dogs, but also more and more with younger, very mobile dogs. For example due to a hereditary predisposition for joint problems. For these and other reasons, glucosamine is added to our dog food.

Cranberry

The cranberry is a plant from the heathland family. This plant can be found in the Netherlands mainly on the Wadden Islands and very rare in the rest of the Netherlands. Originally the plant comes from North America and would have come to the Netherlands for the first time around 1845.

Cranberries contain a unique mix of nutrients that can offer a powerful health boost to dogs. The berries are rich in minerals such as potassium, which ensures a healthy level of the vital liquids in the body. These berries are also full of vitamins A, B and C and antioxidants to support the immune system. Vitamin C makes the urine more acidic, which ensures that the environment in the bladder becomes more unattractive for bacteria. The addition of cranberry can also have a pain -relieving and anti -inflammatory effect. The healthy fibers in Cranberries have a healthy influence on digestion and ensure a longer feeling full of feeling.

Cranberry is added to our dog food because this could make a positive contribution to the prevention of breed -specific complaints in relation to digestion, skin, joints, bones and nerve functions.

Pup, adult or senior?

To help you make the right choice between our Sarplaninac dog food variants, you can use the following guidelines. If your Sarplaninac is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy variant. For a Sarplaninac older than 7 years we recommend the Yourdog Sarplaninac senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the adult variant.

Nutritional advice

Transfer advice

If you switch to YourDog from a different feed brand, we recommend following the following steps. For the first step you feed 25% YourDog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to this for two days. Then you feed 50% YourDog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important that you let the dog get used to it here again. Then mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely left on YourDog. Do this for 2 days. At your own discretion you can start feeding 100% YourDog Sarplaninac dog food.

Storage advice

After opening the YourDog package, the diet is exposed to oxygen, moisture and light, which can affect the shelf life and taste. That is why it is important to store the food in a good way after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage box or ton on a dry, cool and dark place. It is best not to put the diet loose in the barrel, but to put it in the barrel with the entire bag, which you close again as well as possible.
