The cards have a "light side" with which you can play the classic UNO and a "dark side" where the penalties are superstreng. Play the Flip card and all cards in your hand, the packing pile and the other cards are reversed and you will see a completely new series of numbers and colors on the other side. The person who has the Flip card decides whether the light or with the dark side of the cards will be played. The dark side of the cards contains numerous action cards that shake things up considerably, such as Trek five cards and skip everyone.
