Description
Description
The Stingir-384 of the American AGM Global Vision is a tactical heat imaging camera that is supplied with a helmet mount (bridge) with a Dovetail connection. With a 384x288 detector (12μm) and real-time image, it is a high-quality hands-free viewer. The AGM Stingir-384 has been specifically developed for professional users and any demanding user who wants to keep his or her hands free during use. The device is only 14 cm long and weighs less than 200 grams.
Internal highlights
The camera can detect people at a distance of up to 730 m and vehicles up to more than one kilometer. The large field of vision is 16.3 x 12.3 degrees. The optical magnification is 1x, but with a digital hem you can further enlarge to 2x and 4x. You can also use the Picture-in-Picture mode, to further increase a certain object in the screen. The area is projected on a razor-sharp OLED display with 1028x768 pixels.
Optimal observation and detect
You can have the area displayed based on four color palettes: White Hot, Black Hot, Orange Hot (also known as Outdoor Alert) and Rainbow. You can manually control the brightness and contrast, which are adjustable in 10 levels. You can also use the built -in digital compass and the inclinometer, which displays the corner adjustment in degrees.
Assembly on a helmet
At the AGM Stingir you will receive a bridge with Dovetail connection, so that you can attach the heat imaging camera to any common helmet or goggle kit (headset). The adapter has a rail, with which you can perfectly position the heat imaging camera for the desired eye. The NVG mount - which connects your helmet with the bridge - is not included because it depends on the type of connection on the front of your helmet. With the delivery field and the images you can see what exactly is included.
External properties and power supply
The viewer is IP67 certified, so water and dustproof. You can also use the camera without any problems at very extreme temperatures from -10 ° C to +60 ° C. You can provide the AGM Stingir with power in several ways: via continust room or one CR123, RCR123 or 18650 battery. The camera also has a standby mode to further extend the lifespan. You can, for example, realize continuous current supply by attaching a power bank on the back of your helmet or goggle kit and connect it to the heat imaging camera (USB-C connection). This also ensures an optimal balance.
Application AGM Stingir-384
This monocular heat imaging camera has been developed for both handheld and hands-free use. This makes it an ideal solution for a wide range of applications. Think of airsoft and tactical use, such as police and defense (MIL/LE) and any form of security, rescue services or, for example, the Coast Guard. In addition, the Stingir also lends itself to nightly navigation, general nature observations and hunting. With the help of thermal image you can always observe and detect, regardless of the weather type or the moment of the day.
