To extend the lifespan of your new disc brake blocks, it is important to inhibit them well. Keep the brake lever on slightly while you drive and make sure the brake pads touch the brake disc. Drive approximately 100 meters at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour and brake a little faster at the end to reduce the speed to about 5 kilometers per hour. Repeat this process 10 to 12 times to ensure that your new brake pads are well finished.
