After mounting the new brake pads it is important to inhibit them, this extends the lifespan. Keep the brake lever on slightly while you drive and make sure the brake pads touch the brake disc. Drive approximately 100 meters at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour and brake a little faster at the end to reduce the speed to about 5 kilometers per hour. You can then slowly increase the speed while slightly braking. Repeat this process 10 to 12 times to ensure that your new brake pads are well finished.
